Luca Archetti founds a farm "Il Dosso" in 1997 materializing the dream of his father Augusto, who died in 1990. Luca is permeated by the idea of indissoluble relationship which should unite the land with its fruits, that is Franciacorta with its wines. So, he does not understand, the attempts of indigenous viticulture to emulate the French, regarding the bubbles, or the Tuscan for their red vines. His main idea is to shrink from the "corrections" in the wine cellar, in the face of an almost maniacal care of the vineyard: the "terroir" must be expressed freely and must identify the wine, be far from hundreds of homogeneous and the same vines, whose main feature is to be sold. Archetti probably will never become rich with this activity, but it certainly has a distinct identity in Franciacorta in wine production that many big companies have difficulty to find.
