The origins of the company name lie back in time, "Roccolo" is the name of a small, lean construction rising from the base of a Medieval tower surrounded by trees, built on the top of a hill in the heart of the farm grounds, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves looking over the splendid Lake Garda. The building, today the symbol of the company, was built on the base of a Medieval tower by an ancestor, who was the parish priest from 1815-1826. The land lies in the upper area of the village of Castelletto, one of the oldest and most characteristic districts with a wonderful view over Lake Garda, Mount Baldo and the local mountains. The farm covers three hectares of vineyards growing the local varieties Groppello, Marzemino,  Sangiovese, Barbera, Rebo, Incrocio Manzoni, Chardonay and Riesling used to produce the DOC and IGT Garda Classico wines. Two hectares are home to 500 olive trees, of different varieties: Casaliva, a local variety, Leccino, Pendolino and Moraiolo for the production of Garda DPO oils. The house and wine cellar, open to the public, are on the road leading to the village's beautiful historical centre.
